I FEEL SELF-CONSCIOUS ABOUT MY BODY AND I FEEL LIKE I NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT BEFORE THE SESSION, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
First of all, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL as you are! When you begin to see yourself as valuable and beautiful as you are now, those extra pounds will fall off much easier. When you learn to love yourself through this shoot... you will treat yourself with more love. I know that you “know this”.
Of course everyone wants to look their absolute best. Sometimes women use this shoot as a reward for all the hard work meeting goals. If, however, you don't lose as much weight as planned, don’t worry! I will strategically pose and light you in ways that will be flattering to you. Anyone – young and old, all shapes and sizes – can do this. We work on drawing out the gold that lies inside you.
Also, i gently use digital editing to smooth skin, soften wrinkles, fix stray hairs, etc. We are our own worst critics, and with technology so advanced, every detail and flaw is picked up in camera. Of course nobody really sees us that close or high def…. when I edit, i remove those things that the camera picks up but nobody really sees anyway.
All of the images you order will be artistically edited and retouched! My first job is "photographer", my second job is "digital nip-n-tuck artist" ;) Shhhh our little secret.
HOW DO I BOOK MY PORTRAIT SESSION?
You can book online, or in person! I’d love to talk about ideas and how to prepare and plan for an amazing shoot! To book your session a non-refundable retainer will reserve your date.
I dont know what to wear, Can you help me prepare ?
We can schedule a consultation where I come to your residence and see your decorating style, locations you’d like to put your art/portraits, colors you may decorate with, and also to get a sense of your personal style that we can incorporate into our session. I can also help you select props and wardrobe from the items you already have at home. Knowing what to wear and what to bring can be overwhelming, I’d love to take the stress out of that so you can focus on the more important things.
